Sources have told the Wall Street Journal that Sony is planning on making a challenger to Apple’s iPad that will have all the capabilities of a netbook, a Sony Reader and a PSP, the company’s handheld gaming device.
“That is a market we are also very interested in. We are confident we have the skills to create a [great] product,” said Sony’s CFO Nobuyuki Oneda. “Time-wise, we are a little behind the iPad but it’s a space we would like to be an active player in.”

I am a web 2.0 designer from Kathmandu, Nepal and presently working as a wordpress developer. I am into the field of web-designing since 2003 and I’ve designed more than 200 websites in HTML /XHTML/ CSS. I was no-mug with the programming codes (mySQL, PHP etc.) . Since past few months things have changed -just because of WordPress.
Prior, I used to work on WordPress just for making a blog site- but now I code my psd design to XHTML/CSS and develop it using WordPress Content Managment System (CMS)/plugins and other stuffs.
Audio conferencing using Voice over IP (VoIP) works very similarly to a traditional conference call using analog telephones. In a conference call, callers connect to a conference bridge, a server that allows multiple people to talk to one another. VoIP audio conferences use the same principle — callers connect to a conference bridge via their telephones or computers.
Google is taking over the world one sector at a time. Search giant Google already has its control over most of the things we do on the internet. It now plans to control how we get onto the internet too. With fiber network it plans to deliver 1-Gigabit internet connection speed to U.S residents. There is a huge demand for high speed internet but at reasonable price. Let’s see what Google does in future. This could be a huge blow to other mainstream ISPs.
In their blog site Google outlined their goals as follows:
• Next generation apps: We want to see what developers and users can do with ultra high-speeds, whether it’s creating new bandwidth-intensive “killer apps” and services, or other uses we can’t yet imagine.
• New deployment techniques: We’ll test new ways to build fiber networks, and to help inform and support deployments elsewhere, we’ll share key lessons learned with the world.
• Openness and choice: We’ll operate an “open access” network, giving users the choice of multiple service providers. And consistent with our past advocacy, we’ll manage our network in an open, non-discriminatory and transparent way.
Police in China shut down what officials think was the largest training Web site for computer hackers, local media said.
Buying your next laptop computer or smartphone online could suddenly get a lot more expensive if a little-known U.S. Department of Transportation proposal to tighten rules around the shipment of small, battery-powered devices by air goes through, says an industry group opposing the move.
DigInfo has come up with a revolutionary printer. Its different from other printer not only it uses less electricity but it doesn’t require ink cartridges at all. Besides, each of the sheets can be re-used at least 1000 times. Indeed it is a greener way to curb carbon footprints. In the long run we can actually save money by buying this rewritable printer rather than a conventional printer.
