Yes, it’s Free Download of Angry Birds Rio today. Amazon is offering Angry Birds Rio free for few hours from their recently launched appstore. To begin you need to enable  “Debugging Mode” to initiate the installation.  Download Side Load Wonder Machine. Once you’ve downloaded it go to the amazon appstore and download their app for their appstore. To install this use the Side Load Wonder Machine (search youtube videos for tutorials). Then download the Angry Birds Rio. A message prompting unable to install app will popup in the screen.

Browse to “android\data\com.amazon.venezia\cache” in your AT&T android device. You should be able to find an “*.apk”  file in that location. Again using SWM install Angry Birds Rio. This approach should let you install any apps from Amazon which is not currently approved by AT&T.

Bingo! You’re now able to install Angry Birds Rio in your Samsung Captivate.

Edit: You can follow same procedure to install any free apps from amazon store, for e.g  Amazon has already offered Shazam and Swiftkey for free, both of which can be installed via side-loading through SWM.

Are you running Microsoft Outlook 2010 and facing difficulty to synchronize Google Calendar? Several attempts have been made earlier, from using patches to hacking the registry. We recently found a very easy DIY solution to this. It doesn’t take more than two minutes. Isn’t it easy?

1. Download the file: GoogleCalendarSync.zip
2. Unzip it
3. Go to C:\Program Files\Google\Google Calendar Sync
4. Rename GoogleCalendarSync.exe to OLDGoogleCalendarSync.exe
5. Copy the new GoogleCalendarSync file to this folder.
6. Launch  Goggle Calendar Sync.exe
7. Fixed.
8. In case it is not fixed restart your computer.

Thanks to Daniel B. Curran Jr. who made this happen.

Apple states that they have the policy to restrict other company to launch their products with suffix as “pad”. Steve Job even mentioned that Apple own the trademark for this. But to our surprise  a German company, Neofonie GmbH, has launched a new tablet called WePad. WePad has a large 11.6-inch screen and is fitted with a webcam and two USB ports, the two great features which iPad was devoid of. Moreover, WePad runs Intel’s chip on a Linux platform which supports Flash and is compatible with Android too.

Cloud Browse helps you play flash videos with full stream audio. This app can be used in iPhone/iPod Touch and allows you to browse website with Mozilla Firefox, play video or games using Flash and Java plugins and browse in complete security and privacy. This means you could watch Hulu on your iPhone/ iPod Touch or play Farmville.

Technically speaking it doesn’t install Flash on the actual iPhone.  What it does is it connects to a different machine and you get  somewhat lagged but real Flash run applications running on your device. What’s better? IT’S FREE!

To download please follow this link .

Below is an review of Cloud Browse by a kid (seriously, but it is worth watching for a “Genuine” and “unbiased” review)

Israel has banned imports of  iPad because of its wireless interference with other devices. Officers at the customs have even impounded some of the gadgets.  Even tourists won’t be allowed to bring iPads into Israel until officials certify that they comply with local transmitter standards. Stronger Wi-fi signals from iPad can affect  other wireless devices that broadcast at lower power levels.

I always wanted to backup an sms  message so that it never gets lost or accidentally deleted when changing or upgrading phones. Storage has always been an issue for me. There are couple of apps that help you archive your instant messages (IMs) and SMS text messages. They are pretty neat, secure, and free. Dexrex helps you backup numbers, links, dates, names, sms,  and more – all in one place. Syphone used to be a good backup software for iphones but it no longer supports the current version of iPhone. Another alternative idea would be to forward all the text messages to your email such as gmail. What’s yours?
