Android Design is “the place to learn about principles, building blocks, and patterns for creating world-class Android user interfaces,” Christian Robertson, head of the Android visual design group, said in a blog post. “Whether you’re a UI professional or a developer playing that role, these docs show you how to make good design decisions, big and small.”

Google recently released its updated version of Google Calendar Sync (version 0.9.3.6) which is compatible with Microsoft Outlook 2010. Although it includes one and two-way sync support, like earlier version of Google Calendar Sync, it doesn’t support 64-bit version of Microsoft Outlokk 2010. Please make sure that you have 32-bit of OS before you download this.
The latest Google Calendar Sync for 32-bit MS Outlook is available at http://dl.google.com/googlecalendarsync/GoogleCalendarSync_Installer.exe.
Upon completion of installation, users can modify the sync options to their own preferences based on frequency and type of synchronization.

Are you running Microsoft Outlook 2010 and facing difficulty to synchronize Google Calendar? Several attempts have been made earlier, from using patches to hacking the registry. We recently found a very easy DIY solution to this. It doesn’t take more than two minutes. Isn’t it easy?
1. Download the file: GoogleCalendarSync.zip
2. Unzip it
3. Go to C:\Program Files\Google\Google Calendar Sync
4. Rename GoogleCalendarSync.exe to OLDGoogleCalendarSync.exe
5. Copy the new GoogleCalendarSync file to this folder.
6. Launch Goggle Calendar Sync.exe
7. Fixed.
8. In case it is not fixed restart your computer.

There are tools already to convert YouTube videos into MP3, but what if you could use a YouTube video as a ringtone on your mobile phone? Tube2Tone is a web app that lets you do that by converting YouTube videos into ringtones. Simply enter the URL of any YouTube video and click search.
Once the video loads, you can play the video and record a 40 second ring tone from any part of the video. Just click record when you want to start recording and click stop when you are done. Click on the create button to convert it into a ringtone.

A recent patch provided by Microsoft (and automatically installed for many) has caused ‘Blue Screen of Death’ crashes on a few computers. Microsoft personnel Bryant said, “Our initial analysis suggests that the issue occurs after installing MS10-015 (KB977165)”. He said, “However, we have not confirmed that the issue is specific to MS10-015 or if it is an interoperability problem with another component or third-party software.”
Some sources suggest removing patch #977165 if your computer is working, but note that removing a patch can break other patches. Also, MOST users are not experiencing any serious problems with this patch. For those lucky users who are now (or will soon be) staring at a Blue screen covered with white text, please go through our post with relatively simple repair procedure.
1. Boot from your Windows XP CD or DVD and start the recovery console (see this Microsoft article for help with this step)
Once you are in the Repair Screen..
2. Type this command: CHDIR $NtUninstallKB977165$\spuninst
3. Type this command: BATCH spuninst.txt
4. When complete, type this command: exit
